Story

King Nebuchadnezzar brought men from around the world to work for him.
Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were all from Israel.
They loved God and obeyed Him.
God blessed them and gave them important jobs in Babylon.
One day the king Nebuchadnezzar built a huge image made of gold.
He made everyone bow down and worship the image or be thrown into the fire.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew they should only worship God.
King Nebuchadnezzar was very angry.
He ordered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be thrown into the fire.
When the king looked into the fire, he had a big surprise.
There was someone else there with them who looked like an angel.
God protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fire.
When they left, their clothes didn’t even smell of smoke.
At that moment Nebuchadnezzar knew that they worshipped the true God.
