SSW For Cutting CSM Using Machinery (Despatch Site)

• The Chop Strand Mat rolls are 16.5kg and 33kg. No lifting of the 33kg rolls.
• For both rolls use the trolley supplied
• The cardboard boxes containing the rolls are stacked on a pallet at a set height for
the trolley.
• The box can then be tipped onto the trolley and tilted to be removed (from
underneath so the roll slides out flat)
• The trolley can be manoeuvred through a clear aisle to the machinery required.
• Pump the trolley to the required height so that the bar can be run through the centre
of the roll, then fixed back onto the hinges of the machinery ready to be cut.
• The trolley can be lowered and removed from the area.
• Emergency stops must be checked prior to using the machinery and make sure any
guards are in place.
• The mat removed from the machine once cut is 7kg and will just need to be bagged
and placed in the empty stillage area.
• Make sure the pallet of boxes is in the correct place at the right height before using
the trolley.
• All excess/waste packaging needs to be removed from the area.
