Narrative Paragraph

The first time in my life I worked part time after graduating from high school. it was
April 2023. April 11st was my last day at school, after graduating I felt bored if I stayed at
home and waited for the college schedule to start. I really wanted to find new experiences,
work to get my own income and be independent even in a short time. at first my mother
forbade me because she was worried about my condition and my health, but after I convinced
her with full consideration, she finally allowed me to work part-time.

On april 22nd i was accepted to work at a restaurant called "hongkong town restaurant". i
worked as a chef helper who helped them in providing food ingredients and tools. April 22-26
was the first experience of earning my own income, it was very fun even though it was only 5
days. two days after working in the first place I applied to work as a cashier at a Chinese-
Singaporean restaurant called "bbq & hotpot restaurant".

praise God I was also accepted after passing several stages and finally an interview. the job
this time is a bit so complicated because it must have more responsibility in making reports,
recording sales data,Providing Friendly Service, Taking Orders, Providing Information
Needed by Customers, monitoring transactions that take place either with e-money, credit or
debit cards, or cash. These tasks are clearly important for me to do and quite complicated for
me who first worked as a cashier. but praise God I can really follow the rules, work with full
responsibility and honesty. from this experience I learned how to work as a good cashier.

About four months I worked as a cashier, on august 10 I stopped working at the place to
prepare everything needed in college before I finally left batam for west java, cikarang,
president university on august 20 to continue my Education. from my experience while
working part-time is very memorable in my life and it's nice to get this experience even
though it was only briefly, I got to know what it feels like to be fully responsible for working
with other people and independent, until now I apply it in college to get a good relationship
with people around me.
