THESIS : SMOKING IS BAD


Smoking is normal thing for some people because it can make life more
exciting, others because they want to look cool in front of their friends and
people around them. But they don’t know what the real dangers of smoking
for their healt, their life, and also for the people around them. Why do I say
that?

ARGUMENTS :
Firsly, according to https://yankes.kemenkes.go.id on 22 July 2022, smoking
can causes many negative impact for active smoker and passive smokers. Both
are detrimental, but being passive smoker is more dangerous for your healt.
Dangerous particles contain in cigarretes stay in the air for several hours or
more and it lead to dangerous illnes. Someone who smokes only some of the
smoke enters the body and lungs, while the remaining smoked which is
exhaled by the active smoker into the air and can be inhaled by other people as
passive smoker.

Secondly, as mentioned above, the chemicals in cigarretes are very dangerous,


like nicotine and benzene. The nicotine that smokers inhale will be absorbed
into the blood stream, than causing an increase in blood pressure, heart
rate,and breathing. Benzene can also damage white blood cells so that
reducing the body`s resistance and increasing the risk of leukemia.

Moreover, cigarretes also causes addiction. The nicotine contained in


cigarretes produces a pleasureable effect and hard to quit when you had been
addicted. It makes you want to consume it again to get the same effect. This is
what triggers why smokers become wasteful of money.

REITERATION :
Therefore, we know that smoking is dangerous not just for the smoker, but
also for people around them. Just from one cigarretes, the smoke can causes a
lot of danger. Smoking is not only damage your body and also wasting your
money. So please stop right now before you regret it. You can change this
habbits into another activity like work out or doing sport.
