Group Number: C = complete (1 pt.) P = Partial (0.5 pt), N = not at all (0 pt)

Category Scoring Criteria C P N Notes:

Heading clearly indicates group number and discipline teams’ subjects
and names, as well as assigned Olympic event
Title creatively and clearly indicates the topic(s) of study under the
umbrella of the assigned sport
Text is simple and large enough to be read from a minimum of four feet
away. (A standard, easy to read text is used. Both capital and small-case

Logistics

Main elements of your presentation have been typed and are firmly

taking away from the quality and content of your presentation
At least 1 photo/diagram is included for each discipline
All photos/diagrams have captions and titles
Artistic elements of the poster are subtle and do not distract from the
message of the poster. (Scientific posters present info clearly.)
Poster contains the following elements:
Poster Content: Experimental Summary

The problem question(s) studied are clearly indicated (if each discipline
did a separate, but related, experiment, indicate each question)
A summary of each discipline’s experimental process, OR a summary of
each discipline’s role in the group experiment
A summary of the useful data collected during the experiment(s) (note:
raw data must be reported with appropriate units and absolute
uncertainties)
A summary of the analysis that was completed (per experiment),
including proper graphical analysis
A brief discussion about the accuracy and precision of the experiments’
results, and confidence in the results
A brief, and accurate, concluding statement for each experiment
Statements connecting the results of all parts of the experiment
Along with the poster there is an interactive visual aid (1 per experiment)
Visual
Aid

The visual aid(s) are relevant to the experiments and incorporated within
the presentation.
