T he event was very fun, each grade 9 section
had made and prepared their own games to
entertain other students from other year level
that visited their booth, there were also some
students from other school that joined and
observed in this event, the grade 9 students
also handed out brochure’s of their games
about what the game is called and how the
game is played. Each booth had different
games like snake and ladder, uno cards, guess
who and other games which are replaced to
be related to biology yet the flow of the games
are still the same. Many students gathered in
the area and each booth was filled with
students who were interested in their games
and wanted to learn new things.

G usa Regional Science Highschool or GRSHS-X
for short, held the first biolympix in the
year 2023-2024 by the grade 9 batch. This
event was held in showcasing and learning
different games related to biology. The
biolympix was held last September 22, 2023 in
front of the admin building in the campus of
Gusa Regional Science Highschool. The event
started with an amazing and entertaining
performance from the Drum and Lyre Corps
followed by a singing performance which
hyped up most of the students.

he grade 9 students who made the games also
suggested or told the other students who visited
their booth that they can innovate their game or
create another game once it was their turn to
experience the biolympix. Meanwhile, the teachers
were also there to observe the biolympix, since this
was likely a competition on what section created
the best games. Although it rained in the afternoon
the biolympix still continued.

A t the end of the day, the winners of the

biolympix were announced and the
champion was section Lynx-group 1
followed by the 1st runner up; Andromeda-
group 6 and 2nd runner up; Lynx-group 4,
3rd runner up; Hermes-group 6 and Orion-
group 3.
