Until further notice vessels with registered owner “Nordic MPP Shipowning 1 AS” are still required to sent following Techical Forms which were existent

listed forms remain in force. Forms should be sent by the 5th of the month.
In cases where a class surveyor is not able to perform the annual inspection of lifting appliances same can be conducted by a competent crewmember.

b) The Class has confirmed in written that a competent crewmember can conduct the inspection on their behalf
c) A guideline from Class how to conduct the annual inspection of lifting appliances is available on board
d) The crewmember conducting the inspection has sufficient experience with the relevant equipment.
e) Vessel has informed the office who has been appointed. The appointment of the qualified person should be acknowledged by the
Technical Superintendent.
f) The inspection is properly documented.
g) If inspection was conducted by C/E the documentation should be countersigned by 2/E. Otherwise the C/E has to countersign.
h) The relevant entries need to be made in deck log book, cargo gear record book and vessel’s PMS
i) During next annual inspection the class surveyor should be requested to complete another inspection of the lifting appliances
j) It should be avoided to conduct annual inspection of lifting appliances by competent crewmembers for two or more consecutive
year. If it cannot be avoided any consecutive inspection by competent crewmember must be pre-acknowledged by the Fleet
Director or his deputy.
