❖ INTRODUCTION:
Diwali (Deepawali or Dipawali) means rows of lighted lamps. It is a festival of lights, and all Indian
Hindus celebrate it joyfully. People decorate their houses, wear new dresses, prepare sweets, and
celebrate Diwali with fireworks. Diwali is celebrated to signify the victory of light over darkness.

Do’s Don'ts

Burst crackers in an open space. Don't light crackers in hand.

While burning the cracker, maintain safe
distance.
Parents make sure that your child burst
crackers under your supervision.
Wear footwear While lighting fireworks.
Don't leave the firecrackers around burning
candles and diyas.
Don't ever try to burst crackers if they take
longer to burst.
Don't light crackers near the vehicles.

ENGLISH

1. Write an imaginary conversation between a father and a son about a cricket match.
2. Write an essay on how I spent my Diwali vacation.

HINDI

2. Visit five different types of houses in your locality and collect information about materials used to
construct those houses. Stick pictures.

Book Only.

❖ Best five Books will be selected.

❖ The Last date of Submission is on or before27/11/2023.

❖ Diwali Vacation starts from 10/11/2023 TO 19/11/2023.

❖ The School will be re-opened on 20/11/2023 i.e., on Monday at regular timings: 6.55 am
To 12.20 pm.

❖ I semester Open- House will be on 16/12/2023, Saturday. Timings will be declared later
on.

❖ All the Students must wear all seasons Black Leather shoes & Plain White socks from II
Term Onwards i.e from 20/11/2023.
