Introduction
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We are from Tapraya
school. Today we’re going to play a skit entitled “Social
Value”.
Let’s see how this plays out!!!

Scene 1
Father: Honey!!!
Mother: Yes, what do you want now? (attitude)
Father: When are you able to pick up, the supplies I needed
from the store?
Mother: Why don’t you do it yourself? I cook, I clean and care
for the babies all day long. I don’t have time to take care of
your silly chores too. (attitude)

Mother: No! I’m done, you work so much and your smell so
bad from working all day. I am taking Katie and moving into the
city, while you look after Lauren.
Father: I am sorry about the smell! It’s hard to find a good
soap. I was using this one soap that gave me soft skin and….
(Mother interrupts)
Mother: (Mother Yells) ITS NOT JUST ABOUT HOW BAD YOU
SMELL. It’s much more than that, I will discuss everything with
my lawyer and we will talk about it in court. I am taking Katie
and we are leaving now.
Scene 2
Narrator: Years later the girls end up going to the same school
and are even in the same classes, but have no idea that they
are sisters. The mother always pushes Katie to be the best, so
that she could have the best and be better than everyone else.
Let’s see what the mother thinks of Katie’s grades.

Mother: I work too hard for you to slack off in school! Don’t let
this happen again. Understand?
Katie: Yes, mother, it won’t happen again (Katie starts slowly
walking away and then turns around)
Katie: I was just thinking….What happened to my father?
Mother: He died in an accident 12 years ago.
Katie: What was he like?
Mother: He was a very rude and mean man, The best thing that
could have ever happened to you was that you never met your
father.
Katie: Ok (upset)
Mother: now it’s getting late go upstairs and finish your
homework. You must get ready for bed soon.
Katie: Yes, mother good night!

Narrator: Wow that was harsh from Katie’s mother. I wonder
how the father will respond to Laurens transcript.

Father: Lauren!!!!
Lauren: Yes! Father (In bedroom)
Father: Get down here we have, to talk! (kitchen table)
Lauren: (comes walking into the kitchen casually)
Father: (Holds up the transcript)
Father: What’s this?
Lauren: It’s my transcript from school.
Father: I see that, you have a 70% out 100?
Lauren: Sorry, father I did the best I could.
Father: You got a D in your science class and a C in your math
class. Are these hard subjects for you?
Lauren: Yes, I just have trouble understanding, I am sorry are
you mad at me?
Father: No, I am not mad at you. I was no Einstein either when
it came to math and science. I just want you to do the best you
can and be happy with whatever it is that you want to do in
life. Understand?
Lauren: Yes, father.

Father: Ok, well get some sleep. I need your help early
tomorrow morning around the farm before you go to school.
Lauren: (Lauren starts slowly walking away and then she turns
around)
Lauren: I was just thinking…. What happened to my mother?
Father: She is living abroad for work and thinks her business is
more important than her family, we have each other that’s all
that matters.
Lauren: Ok Father, good night!
Father: Good night sweetie!!
Scene 3
Narrator: The sisters are in the same classes but both have
different strengths and weaknesses in different subjects. Let’s
see how Lauren and Katie do in their Science and Agriculture
classes!
Scene 4
Narrator: The sisters graduate from College today and for the
first time in years, The mother and father see each other at the
graduation.
Scene 5
Narrator: In the future many years later

all the crops just in time for the next season which means the
farms profit millions of dollars every week.
Father: Wow that’s great! Do you have any problems?
Lauren: Nope no problems, they’re not that many farm’s
anymore, so no one really knows how to do agricultural work,
I’ve just been very busy.
Lauren: Well the only problem that I have, are all the rabbits
that sneak into my field and eat all my carrots!
Father: (Laughing) Ok! That’s great to hear, I will check in with
you later.
Lauren: Ok Bye!
Narrator: The Father is sitting at home and has an unexpected
knock on the door from the neighbor. The neighbor then shows
the father the situation in the newspaper that his ex-wife and
daughter are in and informs the father that their house is about
to be taken by the bank. The father has no choice but to finally
tell Lauren the truth about her mother and sister. Lauren was
very upset with the father for lying to her. But she decided to

help her long lost mother and sister by paying off their debt
and becoming united as a family again.
Father: The moral of the story is that love will solve all
problems.
Mother: That greed and materials are not more important than
family.
Lauren: When you follow your passion, you will create your
own kind of success.
Katie: Do not let someone tell you how you should live your
life.
