Narrator________ Let's witness a heartwarming scene that

illustrates the importance of labor in our lives.
[The lights come up as Student 1 and Student 2 enter the
stage, carrying books and backpacks.]

Student 1 (S1)_______: (Yawning) Another day at school. I

wish it were a holiday.
Student 2 (S2)_________: (Agreeing) Yeah, but at least it's
Labour Day tomorrow. No school. Yuppie!

S1:_______ True, but I wonder why we even celebrate

Labour Day.
Teacher (T):_______ [Enter Teacher, who overhears their
conversation.]
Ah, I'm glad you asked, S1. Labour Day is a time to
recognize and appreciate the hard work of people in all
kinds of jobs.

S2:_________ Like our parents who work so hard every

day?
T: ________Exactly! Your parents, along with many others
community helpers like doctors, teachers, police officers,
soldiers, farmers and sweepers etc contribute to society
through their labor. It's important to show gratitude for
their efforts.

[S1 and S2 nod in understanding as a Parent enters the

stage.]
Parent (P):________ (Approaching the students) Speaking of
hard work, I'm glad to see you both studying diligently.
Education is another form of labor that's essential for a
bright future.

S1: ________Thanks, Mom/Dad. We appreciate everything

you do for us and all the workers and helpers of our society.
S2: Yes, we're lucky to have you. You make our life so
convenient and easy.
[S1 and S2 share a hug with the Parent as the audience
applauds.]
N:_______ Let's give a round of applause to all the workers,
including our parents, teachers, and school staff, who make
our lives better every day!

Students 1________– Good Morning Teacher, Today is

a lovely day, you know I went on a picnic yesterday to
an amusement park.
Student 2 ______Wow! And I spent my weekend by
playing video games and watching superheroes movies.

Student 3_______ Ah what a delight! I too had a great

time going to a mall and buying a lovely princess dress
for my birthday.
Student 4________ I had a gala time too in my dance
class and karate class. I wish the weekend would last
longer! Anyways

Student 5________ So what are we going to learn today

Ms. Let’s begin with our class.

Teacher______ Everyone, take out your books and we

are going to learn about some interesting topics.
But before that, lets recall what we have leant in our
previous classes.

Okay, who will tell us ….What are the natural

resources found in our environment???

May I answer this Ms. Natural resources are those
resources that are occur naturally on Earth such as
SUN, AIR, WATER, SOIL AND TREES ETC.

Teacher – Hey Champ! Who are you and how come you
gave the right answer.

Child Labour - Well Ms, I am a Child labour. I work in

a nearby shop and sell biscuits and breads to people. I
am forced to work at a very early age.
However, I am really keen to learn and study in a school
like all these students. I too have my dreams and
ambitions. Please tell me what do I do!!! ( Dramatic and
emotional)

Principal_______ – I too have observed this child and

his enthusiasm for learning. After all every child have a
right to education. The children are the future of our
country. They all deserve a normal childhood where
they can blossom in the garden of their interest.

Let’s call their parents as we are going to make a huge

announcement.
We will now begin with a after school programe for all
the under priviledged who wants to go to school and
attain education. Because a better education of children
will develop the future of our nation.
