Topic Unit 5: Weather (Part 2)
Aim To enable the students to understand about weathers.
Materials Youtube video, Laptop, speaker, books.
Process 1. Greeting with students.
Greet the student. “How are you today?”
Lets look outside the window and look up to the sky. How is the weather today? Let the student
answer base on their observation.
2. Revision.
Revise about last week topic. What do they remember about weather?
How is it look like for sunny, rainy, cloudy, and windy day? Let the students think and answer.
3. Set induction.
Teacher play a song entitle “How’s the weather” one time and follow by students to sing along.
How’s the weather? How’s the weather?
How’s the weather today?
Is it sunny? Is it rainy?
Is it cloudy? Is it snowy?
How’s the weather today.
2. Revision.
Revise about last week topic. Communicate with students; What do they remember about
healthy foods? Why we need to avoid unhealthy foods?
Ask students; Do they always consume unhealthy foods?
3. Set induction.
Teacher play a song entitle “How’s the weather” one time and follow by students to sing along.
Yum, yum, yum! Eat and chew.
Yum, yum, yum! Healthy meal!
Yum, yum, yum! Eat and chew.
Let's have a healthy meal!
Yum, yum! Don't be picky.
No, no. Let's have a healthy meal.
Don't be whiny.
No, no. Let's have a tasty meal.
Broccoli, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and black beans!
6. Go through the topic in textbook with the students.
Revise and go through page 13 and 14 so that they remember what they had l last week.
Conclusio Students understand and remember what is healthy food and why do we need to eat healthy food.

Aim To enable the students to solve addition and substraction using abacus
Materials Abacus, books.
Process 1. Greeting with students.
Greet the students. “How are you today?”
2. Revision.
Revise how to do minus (-) and plus(+) using abacus.
Using thumb to pull down the beads for minus, and push up the beads for add.
3. Set induction.
Teacher and students sing “one little two little three” song.
4. Introduce textbook new topic to the students.
Explain about Unit 6: Revision 1to the students on page 12 and 13.
3. Teacher demonstrate.
Teacher demonstrate and show them step by step on how to do the weaving.
4. Students weaving.
Students start weaving and guided by teacher.
Conclusio Students understand and remember how to count using number lines.
