RE: STATEMENT ON THE INCIDENT THAT TRANSPIRED LAST

23 OCTOBER 2023 AT ROSARY HEIGHTS 12, COTABATO
CITY

The recent killing incident that occurred last night at Brgy. RH12, in relation
to the ongoing election, has left the Cotabateños shocked and appalled. Such acts
of violence not only undermine the democratic process but also threaten the very
fabric of our society.

The BFEM expresses its deepest condolences and sympathies to the victims'
families who have lost their loved ones due to this tragic incident. Their lives were
cut short by an act of senseless violence, leaving behind a void that can never be
filled.

The BFEM unequivocally condemns those responsible for perpetrating such

acts of violence. Regardless of political affiliations or motives, resorting to
violence is never an acceptable means of expressing discontent or resolving
differences.

Let us remain steadfast and make the collective effort to ensure that that the
upcoming BSKE on 30 October 2023 remains fair, transparent, and free from fear
or intimidation.
