SPEAKING

The speaking test lasts about 10 to 12 minutes and will be divided into four parts. You take
the test with another student.

PART 1
2-3 minutes
In this part of the test, you will be asked personal questions.
Suggested questions:
1. What is your favourite technological device? Why?
2. Do you have a mobile phone? What do you use it for?
3. What is your opinion about social networks?
4. What is your favourite video game? Why?
5. What are the disadvantages of excessive Internet use?

PART 2
2-3 minutes
Talk together about the advantages and disadvantages of video games. Here are some tips
to help you.

PART 3
3 minutes
In this part of the test, you’ll be asked to talk on your own about a photo. Describe your
photo in detail. Say who/ what you can see, what they look like, what they are doing, etc.

PART 4
3 minutes
Your photographs show the use of technological devices in the classroom. Talk together
about the advantages and disadvantages of using computers and tablets at school. Here
are some tips to help you.
