TUJUAN/PURPOSE :
Kertas Penerangan ini adalah bertujuan untuk memastikan semua aktiviti yang terlibat
dalam prosedur dan kaedah spesifik operasi penanaman kelapa sawit dijalankan
mengikut rancangan dan SOP organisasi.

1.1. METHOD OF DETERMINING EFFECTIVENESS OF OIL PALM PLANTATION
ACTIVITIES

Method of determining effectiveness of oil palm plantation activities:-

 If the progress report stated something positive. An increase in yield, production
etc.
 The efficiency and effectiveness of plantation management as well as refinery
management processes to increase productivity.

1.2. DEFINITION AND PURPOSE OF PROGRESS RECORD

It summarizes the physical the physical progress of main programmes of field work,
harvesting and processing during the month. It may form either a separate return, sent
in during the first week of the following month or accounting period or it may be an
appendix to the accounts which, with computerization, should usually be completed
during the second week or earlier. It comprises the following:-

 A brief statement showing the estates planted area and any changes during the
month, in a format similar. The basic information for this will be available from
the estate survey records, with modification for areas planted or replanted during
the month.
 A brief employment statement, in a format similar to that shown. It will record
staff changes and employment levels compared with the previous month and
budget.
 A statement showing the actual yield for each separate area of palms and the
output per harvester employed. Information for the crop statement should be
accurate and in detail for each separate area of palms. It provides the main
means of assessing the effectiveness of fertilizer programmes, the yield potential
of different planting material and soils and the efficiency of harvesting labor
utilization.
 A brief climate report, eg. As shown in.
 A brief report on the physical progress of maintenance and development
programmes, information on which can conveniently be tabulated against
programmed work. An explanation for any major deviations from the programme
would be required. It is important that this includes the estate fertilizer
programme, which is one of the major costs.
 A manufacture statement, showing production during the month and the produce
stock position and including a brief written report from the engineer on routine
maintenance, breakdowns, processing hours, oil quality and fruit quality.
