A new version of firmware has been released for LP5000R and LP5000, correcting two faults on
maintenance screens that were found with Windows 7 being used.

<How to Upgrade Firmware>

The firmware file for LP5000R / LP5000 is available on GTS.
Download the firmware file to upgrade machines on sites.

1. Requirement for the firmware upgrade

The OS for IC III is Windows 7.

2. Steps
(1) Download the file “LP5000R_Firmware.zip” from GTS and decompress it.
(2) Copy two files “EpxGmc27.cbf” and “EpxLdd27.cbf” to the following folder in IC III.
D:\Fujifilm\FrontierSDK\Printer\PrnDev\Prog\Kariba
(3) After copying, restart IC III and LP5000R / LP5000. The version of the firmware is automatically
upgraded to Ver.3.0-0X-064.

*Please note that if this new version of firmware, 3.0-0X-64, is already factory-installed, the
automatic version update is not performed at the time of installation or if the steps above are
followed.

<Corrections to Faults>
The new version corrects two faults that were identified in version 3.0-0X-060* on LP500R / LP5000.
(*The firmware Ver.3.0-0X-060 is installed in MSP49 Ver. 4.2.1.3063 for MS Ver. 4.2.

Adjustment [0527]”.

2 Corrected a fault on “Sub-scan Feeding Speed

Adjustment [0555]”; if the value for “New” is
changed when the value for “ID” is other than “1”,
the field “Current” displays the same value as the
value that was entered to “New” when the value
for “ID” is changed to “1”.
