I am excited to apply for Master’s program in Management at Ca’ Foscari University of

Venice and I believe that the degree pursued here will widen my professional horizons as well
as give new ideas and improve my personal skills to my further career.
Nowadays continuous education and development of both technical and soft skills
became critical to be competitive professional. Leadership, communication and ability to adapt
fast changing environment-these are important factors for success in career in business and
corporate world. Transformations and new realities influenced all fields and require from
managers new understandings and skills. Moreover, new trends in global markets, changing
customer needs, globalization processes and extremely fast changing financial conditions-these
all are challenges for managers and together with competence in some technical aspects,
strong soft skills are crucial. Therefore, I choose Management program, as here I found for
myself the best combination of disciplines where I effectively can improve my skills, gain
valuable knowledge and experiences, and sharpen skills I have improved during my current
studies.
My name is Anel and I graduated one of the leading universities in my country - KIMEP
University where I earned bachelor’s degree in Business Management. During my studies
there, I got solid foundation in crucial disciplines for business manager and had insights of
business processes and practical sessions participating a range of activities with partner
companies of university. Thanks to the strong faculty and many practical activities, study there
was a great start of my professional life and fascinating time of bright and active student life. I
always tried not to limit myself with academic life, but also to use every chance to participate
social, cultural and sport events. These kind of activities, volunteering experience at different
organizations, students camps and many other activities allowed to improve my team spirit,
communication and language skills, and offered great networking opportunities, which are
important for my profession as well. Also, I spent 5 months as an exchange student in Oslo,
Norway and had fascinating chance to obtain great knowledge and interchange experiences in
international environment.
I started my professional path in a business consulting company. I worked on a range of
projects solving real world business cases in a team of experienced professionals. I got a
chance to have valuable insights from them in many aspects of business. Today, I am sure that
any successful manager is a someone who can initiate and implement changes. I feel that I
need to enrich knowledge regarding financial aspects, communications and other business
fields, and to strengthen personal skills needed to lead teams.
I am sure that studying abroad is a great academic experience, but cultural interchange,
bright student life and trips make studying even more useful and interesting. Italy’s rich
history, spectacular architecture, delicious cuisine and interesting lifestyle is well-known all
over the world and I would be happy to plunge in the atmosphere of Italy. Together with
strong faculty and high-quality education - all of these, I am sure, I can find studying at Ca’
Foscari University. In addition, I am convinced that the reputation and ratings of the University
attract high level starting professionals from business fields, and it offers great networking
opportunities. I truly believe that my working, knowledge and skills gained on previous studies,
social student life experience can be useful not only for my success at graduate studies, but
also will be an asset for my future classmates, and I would add value to your university’s
community.
