Introduction:
This module contains information and suggested learning activities on Electronic Product
Assembly and Servicing NC2. It includes training materials and activities for you to accomplish and
complete.
Completion of this module will help you better understand the succeeding module on the
Circuit Design and Layout.
This module consists of 4 learning outcomes. Each learning outcome contains learning
activities supported by instruction sheets. Before you perform the instructions, read the information
sheets and answer the self-check and activities provided to certain as to yourself and your instructor
that you have acquired the knowledge necessary to perform the skill portion f the particular learning
outcome.
Upon completion of this module, report to your instructor for assessment to check your
achievement of knowledge and skills requirement of this module. If you pass the assessment, you
will be given a Certificate of Completion.
Upon completion of the module the trainees/ students should be able to:
ILO3.1 Discuss the significance of PCB and its function.
ILO3.2 Simulate PCB Software Applications.
ILO3.3 Design circuit on a PCB.
ILO3.4 Troubleshooting the possible cause of the circuit on the PCB to malfunction.

If you are into electronics, PCBs are some of the most common things you
will see. These boards make our lives easier by eliminating all those
connecting wires and breadboards. If properly designed, it will reduce the
size of your device and can look very sexy.
In this module, I will show you how you can make circuit boards at home
easily. Doing so will save you a lot of time from debugging and double
checking the connections on a breadboard. So, sit back and see how it’s
done!

- Small Piece of Cloth
- Sanding Paper
- Plastic container
Summary:
What Paper Should I Use:
- Sticker Paper
Step 9: Soldering
Before you solder make sure to clean the copper clad and your done. You will just have to test if
your soldered circuit is working.
Activity 1:
Direction: Using PCB wizard to do this. Layout the following schematic diagram circuits, show the
artwork of each circuits and indicate each components location.
