To
measure students’ study habits, the 45-item standardized questionnaire of
Palsane and Sharma study habits inventory (PSSHI) was used. The tool was a
self-assessment PSSHI assesses students’ study habits based on the following
non-cognitive aspects: 1. time, 2. making notes, 3. reading habits, 4. place,
materials, and physical setting, 5. test preparation, and 6.examination habit. In
this study, the researchers used the 3-point Likert scale to quantify the responses
on the level of study habits.The respondents had to scale themselves from 1 to 3,
with 1 being almost never and 3 being almost always.A higher score indicates
that the students have good study habits.
