MINUTES OF THE 86TH SATFF MEETING HELD 28TH JULY, 2023

86.1 opening Formalities

86.1.1 Opening prayer: A session of praises and prayer was led by Mrs Oniya and Mr Osasona at
exactly 12 :10 – 12: 25pm

86.1.2 Reading correction and adoption of the agenda : The agenda was shared, read and
corrected . the motion for the adoption of the agenda was moved by miss D.E Lawal and seconded by
Mrs Akanbi Rachael.

86.12 Opening Remarks : The principal Mrs F.O Agbaje appreciated God for his goodness upon
everyone. She prayed that God would reward everyone accordingly she relayed the appreciation
message from the owner of the school and prayed for abundant blessing in every ramification.

86.1.3 Reading , correction and adoption of the last minutes . the staff secretary, Mr E.S Agboola
read the minutes of the last meeting and necessary correction were made. The motion for the
adoption of the minutes was moved by Miss Ayodimeji and seconded by Adeboye T.O.

Matters Arising

 Mr Saliu admonished every staff in each department in the school to submit their inventory.
Mr Saliu express his dissatisfaction on the activities of the sanitation committee he implore
the committee to wake up and do more in subsequent term.
 Mrs Jolayemi D.A responded that they were unable to do much because of lack of
equipment.
 Master and Mistress on duty were implore to be punctual to coordinate the students to do
necessary cleaning before assembly
 The students in SS3 should be assessed and monitored.
 Mrs Oduniyi D.O testified that some of the weak students performed well.
 The prize giving committee were appreciated
 Every staff should take it as priority to guide the students

Academics performance of the students

Mrs Akolawole explained that as from next session the school will follow the normal working school
hours . the overview of the performance was read to the members.

 3 Students repeated in JSS1


 All JSS 2 students were promoted
 SS1 2 students were asked to repeat
 SS2 –

The staff allocation were shared for teachers perusal. The teaching staff were admonished to submit
on the date given. Any erred staff would be sanctioned. The subject teachers should not repeat
questions of previous years. Subject teachers are expected to submit their questions to the school e-
mail and tag it with the subject.
 The valedictory service will come up September 26, 2023

Security / Health matters: ( staff welfare) Mr Adeboye T.O explained that health could take wealth
from someone if such is wealthy. To enjoy our life, there is need for us to monitor and check what we
take in (eat)

School welfare : Every staff is admonished to keep watch over the students. The teaching staff should
keep watch over the students in their class during teaching. If any students is seen not proactive in the
class such students should be sent to the matron or other appropriate quarters

Security matters: The staff were admonished to be seriously sensitive / conscious. The issue of
security should reflect in all endeavor. i.e the kind of information we receive . any parent / stranger
coming into the school without informing the Principal and the VP’s Should not be allowed into the
school premises. The security personnel should take appropriate information from the authority
mentioned. Mr Saliu instructed the security personnel not to allow any student to go out of the school
premises. Every vehicle coming into the school should be checked no item should be received from
any parents, strangers / students every students must present exit form before going out of the school
premises. Mr Adeleye made it known that the security personnel should be pre informed of any
activities in the school.

Hostel Master / Mistress: are expected to check in the students thoroughly and sent back any erred
students.

Staff welfare : The Principal admonished every staff to look for another source of income to
complement our take home. The P.T.A was appreciated for their annual support

Student Welfare : the principal expressed her dissatisfaction with the way food was shared to the
students. She emphasized that one and half spoon should be served for each students. The
measurement for sharing should be strictly followed. No extra food should be taken home by any
kitchen staff.

Transport : the principal appreciate God for his faithfulness in the last session . the principal
admonished the driver to care for the students. She emphasized that no ill word should not be used
on the students. The caring should be limited; the caring should not be shown at the expense of school
finances. Mr Saliu reacted and implore the drivers to drive carefully.

A.O .B

 Miss Ayodimeji A.B implore the school authority to add more people to the prep monitoring
team
 Mr. Adekeye asked for the date of valedictory service and it was announced that the service
will hold on 29th September 2023
 Mr Ag oola E.S reminded the staff for the weeding programme and requested that other
interested should write their names for proper arrangement. The take off time would be 9am.
 Mr Saliu shared the duty among the hostel master / mistress Mr Joseph – Boys hostel Miss
Borode & Miss Ayodimeji – Girls hostel
 The principal announce that two of the staff members have resigned of their duty Miss D.E
Lawal and Mrs Aderinola. She urged every member to be the mouth piece of the school .
teachers are implore to advertise the school.
 Miss Lawal D.E appreciated the school system for their support in one way or the other
 Mrs Jolayemi D.E suggested that the students uniform should be looked into

Adjournment: Mr Adeboye T.O moved the motion for the adjournment of the meeting and
seconded by Mrs Jolayemi D.A.
Next meeting: this will come up on 14th September 2023
