Nurse : Good morning Mrs. Putri

Patient : Good morning Nurse.

Nurse : My name is Desma, the nurse who will take care of you during this morning shift. How
do you feel today?

Patient : I’m feeling fatigue, dizziness and nausea. And I think my body have fever again. Is
there any medicine I should take?

Nurse : Yes sure, I bring your medicine. Do you have eating?

Patient : Not yet.

Nurse : Okay, I will explain the medicine for you. First is paracetamol tablet 500 miligrams,
three times a day by mouth after meals.

Patient : What is the function of the medicine?

Nurse : This is to reduce your fever.

Patient : What are side effects of medication?

Nurse : Rare but possible drowsiness, stomachache, and loss of appetite. Oke next, second
medicine is ondansentron injection intravenous 4 miligrams, twice a day to reduce
nausea.

Patient : When will the medicine be injected?

Nurse : This medicine will be injected 30 minutes before meals. So, I will give it now because
you haven’t eaten yet.

Patient : Are there any side effects that will appear?


Nurse : Side effects that may appear is headache, dizziness, constipation, and drowsiness.

Patient : Okay, please take it slowly.

Nurse : Finish. Wait for reaction of the medicine. Make sure don’t forget to take your
paracetamol tablet later.

Patient : Of course, I will take the medicine after meals.

Nurse : That’s great. Now I will check your blood pressure.

Patient : Sure with pleasure.
