Indonesion Culture in facing digital era

How much do you know about Indonesia? A country in which there are diverse cultures.
Indonesia is an archipelago that has 34 provinces which in it have a variety of different
cultures in each region.
That is what proves that Indonesia is rich in culture. As we know, Indonesia has many
different tribes, races, religions from sabang to Merauke.
The many differences that make Indonesia famous to the corners of the world. However, in
today's era, especially entering the 21st century where technological developments are
increasing, especially in terms of telecommunications and information, Indonesian culture
seems to be increasingly lost to civilization.
Although according to law No. 8 of 2002, in essence the purpose of the development of
Science and technology (science and technology) is to improve the welfare of society in order
to build a nation's civilization. For more details, we know that the main goal of Science and
technology is to change the future life of humans for the better, easy, cheap, fast and safe.
The development of Science and technology, especially information technology such as the
internet makes it very easy for humans to achieve their life goals in a short time. So that not a
few people today prefer to study digitalization innovations than to study their own culture.
The more technology develops, the more digital products that are now starting to spread in
society.
Not only digital products in the form of social media such as FB, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok
etc. But began the emergence of mobile phones are increasingly innovating to become more
sophisticated. This makes it easier for people to exchange news through chat, telephone, and
even video calls. Digital products also tend to make Indonesians forget their own culture.
However, we cannot demand to eliminate digitalization that has spread in Indonesian society.
But this does not mean that today's generation will lose all identity as a nation rich in culture.
Seeing that Indonesian culture is increasingly foreign to its own people, we as the current
generation must be able to balance between local culture and digital Culture.
There are many ways we can do to preserve Indonesian culture in the middle of the digital
era.
As well as we can take advantage of social media that we often use almost every day to
educate or spread knowledge about our own culture to the general public, especially social
media activists.
Then, instill the values of Pancasila in everyday life. Or it could be by using our mobile
phones as a means to deepen the values of Indonesian culture. So, that way we can balance
Indonesian culture with the culture of digitalization that is increasingly spreading at this time.
The existence of this digitization culture can also make us as people who introduce
Indonesian culture to the community both at home and abroad. Because a great nation is a
nation that values its culture
