This module follows a continuous assessment approach.

This means that there are several

assignments or activities that MUST be completed throughout the module and they ALL contribute
towards your final mark. The year mark is your final mark.

Very important to note: There is no examination for this module nor is there a supplementary
examination. This means that if you do not attempt the assessments and activities throughout the year,
you lower your chances of passing the module. Please ensure that all submissions of assessments are
made on or before the specified deadline. Late submissions WILL NOT be accepted.

The assessment plan for the module is as follows:

students who obtained special admittance, will be allowed to write, and submit assessment 7 and/or
assessment 10.

If you are unable to write and submit assessment 3 or assessment 6, due to a valid excuse (illness or
personal circumstances), you can apply for admission to assessment 7. Application for admission to
assessment 7 must be submitted via e-mail to your lecturer within 10 working days after the scheduled
assessment 3 or assessment 6 date.

The same applies for assessment 9. If you are unable to write and submit assessment 9, due to a valid
excuse (illness or personal circumstances), you can apply for admission to assessment 10. Application
for admission to assessment 10 must be submitted via e-mail to your lecturer within 10 working days
after the scheduled assessment 9 date.

Admission to assessment 7 and assessment 10 will only be given to students who applied for admission
within the allocated time frame and who applied with a valid excuse accompanied with the necessary
and legitimate proof. Admission to assessment 7 and assessment 10 remains at the discretion of
the lecturers of the module.
