Message of the Punong Barangay
The challenges that we encounter in the performance of our duty remind us that we the
servant of the people should always behace on the manner that befits our office that we represent
and be a role model to the community.
The new era of local government units (LGUs) and barangay involves devolution. Which
the national government transfer or the delegation of power to a lower level. This means that the
government will be moving the power or responsibilty from a main organization to the barangay
Through a system of decentralization whereby local government units (LGUs) shall be given
more powers, authority,responsilitives and resources.
This devolution transition plan of the Barangay provides the Barangay Government with
a roadmap to ensure strategic,systematic ang Coherent actions towards the full implementation
of function,service and facilities to be fully devolved by the national government agencies
concerned.
I would like to think the Barangay Councils, BHW’s, CVOs and Non-Government
Organizations for their help in making this devolution plan.
