THE TASK
While there is growing awareness and concern regarding climate change, with a lot of active
discussions surrounding the issue, there is not much information on several other risks facing
the world such as warfare, and continuing conflicts. Innovative solutions are required now
more than ever to identify these issues and address them in an effort to build a resilient
society. War and conflicts demolish many systems and infrastructure. Globally, there are
ongoing conflicts happening within and across countries. Thus, make a proposal that will
offer solutions of response, recovery, mitigation, and/or preparedness at the school-level
towards warfare and conflicts. The innovation may be a technological product, approaches,
systems, mechanisms, or knowledge that already exist towards different forms of warfare
such as cyber-crime attacks, crime, biological, chemical, or nuclear warfare.

Each team’s case study proposals shall include the following:

 Title
 Summary (100 - 200 words)
 Background of the Problem (200 – 300 words)
Describe the challenges and issues and the suggested approach to be used in helping
to build resiliency of the society to warfare and conflicts. The participants may utilize
any of the following (or a combination of) approaches below:
- Protocol-based Approach
- Product-based Approach
- Service-based Approach
 Methodology (300-500 words)
The proposed project shall discuss how to make use of the approach
(process/product/service) to help build a society that is resilient to warfare and
conflicts. Participants may use any of the following themes as guide:
- Plan of Action
- Materials and resources needed (including the Cost Analysis and
Feasibility)
- Steps of Production/Theoretical Implementation (stating the overall plan)
- Efficiency of the Product/Process
 Implications (200-500 words)
Participants shall explain the effects of the proposed solution to the environment and
human health. This section shall also explain the social responsibilities that the
community must uphold to ensure the sustainability of the proposed project.
 References using APA Style
