Speak Up and Lead | Final Assignment Tool

Please review the instructions in the Final Assignment document and complete this tool in its entirety.

1. Applying your values to your work

Think about your values. What’s important to you? Once you’ve thought of your values, think of 2 challenges
at work that you’d love to do something about. Based on your values, outline what you’d like to do about
these situations.

values do about the situation

2. Construct your leadership story

A leadership story explains how you’ve previously used your values to make a decision or take action when
faced with a challenge. To help you come up with a leadership story, think of a time you encountered a
challenging situation, what you did about it (the choice you made based on your values), and how the
outcome/result contributed to your current situation.
