EcoStruxure Building Operation 2022 New Feature Highlights

INCREASED ACCESS TO INFORMATION

Semantic Tagging with Brick Schema
The system now supports modelling of the building’s
“digital twin” to provide a human understandable, and
machine readable, standardized, contextual description
of locations, equipment, points and relationships. The
result is faster problem resolution and better customer
experience through easier navigation, faster searching
and intuitive filtering. Available in English only.

The semantic modelling uses a graph database that is included with Enterprise Server and Enterprise Central with
capacity of two concurrent queries. Additional query capacity can be unlocked through licensing.

Open Integration with EcoStruxure Smart Connector

EcoStruxure Smart Connector is an open-source developer framework, including SDK, for linking third party systems to
EcoStruxure Building Operation enabling new capabilities, applications and solutions and best-in-class single pane of
glass experiences. In EcoStruxure Building Operation 2022, the
framework has been brought up to .NET Framework 4.7.2, and
with the introduction of Semantic Tagging it is now possible to
leverage Brick Ontology in queries across the Smart
Connector interface. Smart Connector is a licensed feature.

WebStation Enhancements
• Dashboards:
This update includes eight out-of-the-box interactive widgets for more efficient management of alarms:

• Alarm Count • Event Pie

• Alarm Pie • Event Sankey Chart
• Alarm Sankey Chart • Event Pareto Chart
• Alarm Pareto Chart • Event Rate Chart

When an element in alarm widgets are clicked, the system displays an

alarm list of the alarms that the element represents, so that operator can
resolve the more important issues quicker.

• Multi schedule viewer: Enables a quick overview of various time schedules in a single view. Multiple schedules
can be easily edited in a single operation.
• Zoning Presets : Switch between preconfigured zones without user input based on schedules, program logic or
hardware input. Applications include conference centers or sporting arenas where its common to switch between
established zones.
• Rezoning: Grouping and ungrouping operations can be performed using graphics only – no text editing required.
Groups can be renamed in this new version. The rezoning tool in WebStation is a licensed feature.
• Trend log management: Operators now have full flexibility to create all types of logs. Location and unit can be
specified, and all other log parameters are available for configuration.
