Position Title: Sales Event Manager

Position Description: -

This is the key position in the Company who will be responsible for planning and leading event
execution in line with sales strategic activity roadmap, member’s way of working and the
company’s culture. The person is also expected to deliver agility in event management (offline,
online, hybrid…) with initiatives and creativity. This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City and will
be directly reporting to Sales Head.

• To lead event planning and execution as per company’s strategic business objectives and
sales activity calendar.
• To improve member’s experience via event execution protocol, digital innovation
development and creative/agile event organizing.
• To work closely with member services, event regional committees to promote for local,
regional and word-wide events and incentives.
• To expand and improve the communications channels between members and Herbalife by
providing accurate, up-to-date and reliable information.
• To perform vendor recommendation, briefing, evaluation, budget tracking and monitoring in
compliance with procurement policy and matrix approval.

Position Qualification: -

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform
the duties and responsibilities of this position.

• University degree preferably with Economics, Business Administration, or the like.


• At least 3 years of work experience in the position of Event Manager/Event Assistant
Manager/Account Director.
• Experience in working in event function/working in agency side is a plus.
• Good balance of planning skills and detailed operational experience.
• Time, project and work management skills.
• Ability to organize, work independently and work under pressure, tight timelines.
• Self-motivated, problem solving skills.
• Travel is required.
• Professional, confident, careful, calm and mature personality.
• Must be bilingual with ability to read and write Vietnamese and English fluently, good
translation capability.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) and email.

Position Responsibility: -
List the expectations for each job responsibility including quality and quantity standards to which
the incumbent is required to perform and receive a rating for during the Performance Appraisal.

• Lead event project briefing as a whole, work closely with GSS in vendor selection, scoring,
negotiation, and evaluation.

• Manage and build up event calendar together with field sales and sales operations team, act
as a single lead to update and communicate changes to involved functions.

• Perform event execution with expected quality, KPIs, frequency, agility, and budget efficiency.
Ensure post event evaluation is conducted with integrity, data, and learning.

• Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.

• Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters, work with regional and local
supporting teams (MS, Finance) in event ticket selling system control and tracking.

• Provide directions, master timelines/checklists for project team, involved parties to execute
and manage on top performance.
• Follow up on project progress and support project members to ensure all work is completed on
schedule and as required.

• Coordinate all parties involved in the project together, ensure all information and work is
exchanged and carried out smoothly.

• Identify and handle any problems that arise during project implementation.

• Represent the company at event onsite to take care members as well as ensure that members’
issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with the global, regional and local team, this
person will be the key event-related communications person for the country.

Directly lead and supervise event supervisors/assistant managers/assistants located in three


different offices of Herbalife Vietnam (Hanoi, Danang and HCM).

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts with all levels throughout the organization, both
internal and external - including but not limited to customers, members, leaders and vendors;
coordinates and liaises with regional and local leaders, as well as vendors and media.
