SYLLABUS SA KONTEKSTWALISADONG KOMUNIKASYON SA FILIPINO (CRIM 1)

Vision
We envision Altavas College to be the center of quality tertiary education in Business, Criminal Justice and Teacher Education
that will produce globally competitive graduates.

To achieve our vision, Altavas College shall provide affordable, accessible, and quality tertiary education to Altavasnons and
neighboring citizens through excellent and effective Hotel and Restaurant Management, Office Administration, Criminology and
Teacher Education to meet the national and international standards.

Bachelor of Science in Criminologyprogram is preparing its graduates to achieve, the program educational outcomes
which are as follows: (refer to CMO 05, Series of 2018)

A. Conduct criminological research on crimes, crime causation, victims, and offenders to include deviant behavior.

B. Internalize the concepts of human rights and victim welfare

C. Demonstrate competence and broad understanding in law enforcement administration public safety and criminal justice.

D. Utilize criminalistics or forensic science in the investigation and detection of crime.

E. Apply the principles and jurisprudence of criminal law, evidence and criminal procedure

F. Ensure offender’s welfare and development for their re-integration to the community.

Student Outcomes
After completion of the programs, the students will be able to:

A. To recognized the concepts and principles of criminological research on crimes, crime causation, victims, and offenders
to include deviant behavior.

B. To determine the concepts of human rights and victim welfare

Descriptive Title: Kontekstwalisadong komunukasyonsa Filipino 1

Pamagat ng Kurso: Ang Kontekstwalisadong Komunikasyon sa Filipino ay isang praktikal na kursong nagpapalawak at nagpapalalim sa
kontekstwalisadong komunikasyon sa wikang Filipino ng mga mamamayang Pilipino sa kani-kanilang mga komunidad sa
partikular, at sa buong lipunang Pilipino sa pangkalahatan. Nakatuon ang kursong ito sa makro kasanayang pakikinig at
pagsasalita, gayundin sa kasanayan sa paggamit ng iba’tibang tradisyonal at modernong midya na makabuluhan sa
kontekstong Pilipino sa iba’t-ibang antas at larangan.

Grading Periods
There are only three (3) grading periods, the prelims, midterms and the finals.

General Policies:(In relation to COVID 19 Pandemic)


1. Observance of Health Protocols such as wearing of facemask and face shield at all times, maintaining of social distancing at 1
meter away from each other.
2. Students entering the school campus should pass through at the front liner’s desk for hand washing, hand sanitizing,
temperature scanning and logging of names and cellphone number for future contact tracing.

Classroom Policies;
1. Observe Health Protocols such as wearing of facemask and face shield at all times, maintain social distancing at 1 meter
away from each other
2. Students, while inside the classroom should observe wearing of proper and complete uniform.
3. Students are mandated for on time submission of requirements.
4. Use of cellphone during class hours is prohibited
5. In case of absence, presentation of admission slips in case of valid and excusable absence.
