concepts. This integrated, 2-week
unit is full of hands-on
manipulatives, challenging lessons,
and even a trip to the Pittsburgh
Zoo and PPG Aquarium!

UNITS- a unit of measurement,
basic benchmark
POLYGON- a plane figure with at
least three straight sides and
angles, typically five or more
RECTILINEAR- shape with
straight lines
DISTANCE- the measure of space
between things
