1. Compare and contrast Greek and Roman artworks.

- Certainly, Greek and Roman art have similarities and differences. Both showcased mastery of realistic
portrayals of the human form, but Greek art placed more emphasis on idealized beauty while Roman art
focused more on realism. The Greeks also favored creating sculptures in marble while Romans preferred
to work with bronze material.

The difference is that the Greeks maintained an interest in mythological themes often depicted in their
artwork, whereas the Romans were more interested in conveying political power through portraiture
and reliefs.

2. Discuss how Mannerism art because an offshoot of works from the Renaissance.

When Renaissance art celebrated the beauty of nature and human form in a realistic manner,
Mannerism took those traditions further by experimenting with composition, perspective and color ,
creating striking visuals still appreciated today.

3. Explain why Neoclassicism serves as a response or reaction to the Baroque Period.

Neoclassicism developed as a response to the extravagant of Baroque art, opting instead to reflect on
Europe's rich past and look back at its current philosophical views about knowledge, combining them
into a single, harmonious, and classic aesthetic expression
