City last November 08, 2023, at 4:00 pm held in the SK Hall.

CALL TO ORDER:
The Meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm in the afternoon.
ROLL CALL:
The SK Chairman instructed the secretary to do the roll call of the members to determine there
is a quorum. There was.
BUSINESS OF THE DAY:
1. Resolution no. 01 series of 2023, Concurring the appointment of Aira Jane Demapanag for
the position of SK Treasurer of the SK Council.
Upon motion of SK Councilor JC Salarda and duly seconded by SK Councilor Raffy Esclada Jr.,
Resolution no. 01 was passed and approved.
2. Resolution no. 02 series of 2023, Concurring the appointment of Cristal Jane Tribunal for the
position of SK Secretary of the SK Council.
Upon motion of SK Councilor James Aerol Sansaet and duly seconded by SK Councilor
Deseree Mombay, Resolution no. 02 was passed and approved.
3. The council discussed about the monthly SK Session to be held every 3 rd Saturday of the
month at 4:00 pm in the afternoon.
Upon Motion of SK Councilor Justine Rhey Bautista and duly seconded by SK Councilor Jeff
Ford Baylon, this was approved.
4. The following are internal rules that was discussed:
- If there would be any late without any valid reason and if they fail to notify the
presiding officer about their whereabouts, there would be a ₱5.00 fee every minute

that they are late. Money would be put in the trust fund for the December
Christmas party of the SK Council.
- If there would be any absent and they have fails to inform the council before the
session starts; the council agreed that the absent will cater the snacks on the next
meeting.
Upon Motion of SK Council JC Salarda and duly seconded by SK Councilor Axl Toby Apines, this
was approved.
ADJOURNMENT:
There having no more business to take up; the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 in the evening
upon motion of SK Councilor James Aerol Sansaet and duly seconded by SK Councilor Raffy Esclada Jr.

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF MS. AIRA JANE DEMAPANAG AS SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN TREASURER OF BARANGAY SOUTH SAN JOSE MOLO, ILOILO CITY.
WHEREAS, the Republic Act. 10742 otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015
provides in Chapter 2 section 13 paragraph (f) states that the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson,
With the concurrence of the Sangguniang Kabataan, has the power to appoint among the members of
the Katipunan Kabataan a Secretary and Treasurer;
WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 further provides for the following qualifications of an SK Treasurer;
- Must be a citizen of the Philippines, a qualified voter of the Katipunan ng Kabataan.

- A resident of the Barangay for not less than one (1) year immediately preceding the day of the
elections.
- At least eighteen (18) years but no more than twenty-four (24) years of age on the day of
elections.
- Able to read and write Filipino, English or the local dialect.
- Must not be related within the second civil degree or consanguinity or affinity to any incumbent
elected national official or to any incumbent elected regional, provincial, city municipality of
Barangay official in the locality where he or she seeks to be appointed; and
- Must not have been convicted by final judgement of any crime involving moral turpitude.
WHEREAS, from among the Katipunan ng Kabataan members of Barangay South San Jose, Molo, Iloilo
City, the Chairperson recommended Ms. Aira Jane Demapanag for the position of SK Treasurer after due
consideration of her qualifications and finding her to possess the necessary skills experience for the
position of as SK Treasurer;
WHEREAS, as SK Treasurer, Ms. Aira Jane Demapanag shall perform the following duties as stated in the
Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015:
- Take custody of all SK properties and funds and ensure proper turnover to the next SK Treasurer.

- Collect and receive contributions, monies, materials, and all other resources intended for the SK
and the KK and issue the corresponding official receipt thereto.
- Serve as cosignatory in all withdrawals from the SK Funds and disburse funds in accordance with
the approved annual budget and supplemental budget, as the case may be, of the SK.
- Certify the availability of the SK funds whenever necessary.
- Submit to the SK and to the Sangguniang Barangay, certified and detailed statements of the
actual income and expenditures at the end of every quarter and the posting of the same in the
Barangay bulletin board and in at least three (3) conspicuous places within the jurisdiction of the
Barangay, and If possible, including the use of traditional and non-traditional media.
- Render written financial report of all SK Funds and property under her/his custody and shall be
made available to the KK members during the regular KK assembly; and
- Perform such other duties and discharge such other functions as the SK Chairperson may
prescribe or direct.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THESANGGUNIANG KABATAAN to

approve the appointment of Ms. Aira Jane Demapanag as Treasurer of the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay South San Jose, Molo, Iloilo City.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That Ms. Aira Jane Demapanag appointment shall be effective November 08, 2023.
