Interviewer: What problems have you encountered within the community related to agricultural
and biosystems engineering?

Interviewee: As of now in our farm in Impasug-ong we’re planting. Flood is our number one
problem because the crops can be washed out whenever there are floods.

Interviewer: Okay ma’am. Next question is why do these difficulties exist? Why are these
problems present?
Interviewee: No concrete canals. If ever we attempt to do canals, it’s shallow and can’t sustain in
the long run.

Interviewer: How do these issues affect you as an individual?

Interviewee: It has a very big effect to us especially me I have planted crops now, if the rain is
heavy, my crops are damaged as well.

Interviewer: Next is how do these complications affect other people?

Interviewee: As of now, we’re helping each other but it can really affect us and our neighbors.
We build temporary canals that can sustain.

Interviewer: Next is, which is the last question, how do you cope up with these situations?

Interviewee: We do things slowly but surely because we know that this is also a part of our
farming. It is also better if we can receive help from the government because in the long run we
can’t endure this anymore and we need help.

Interviewer: That’s all ma’am thank you for answering all the questions.
