become? Then it is usually top-down.
Sometimes it’s a job, hence, the

you just have to comply to do that because
it’s part of the job.
 While in volunteerism the other side it is
organizational meaning the organization
can do this it is coming from the
organization itself. It is compassion driven.
meaning you want to volunteer to help
because it is out of compassion.
Sometimes it is long term
 meaning you do not stop in one activity
alone. you want more activities since it is
organizational and compassion driven it
becomes now a bottoms-up strategy.
 meaning its coming from you, coming from
the members of the organization, from the
officers of the organization.
 then it is more of the impact meaning
change in your behavior, in your life
direction in terms of your attitude it is
bigger in terms of effect to you as a person

to help and what’s important here there is
transformation because volunteerism now
can become Transformational person.
 Transformational meaning from a passive
person, a pathetic person you become a
person for others, development of the
country, people around you.
 But both of them at the center are both
participatory - meaning it need
participation of the people. hindi lang siya
