Fuego Fuego is said to have gotten its name from the bright
sparkles that the light-possessing fireflies brought to the
previously dark evening in the area. resembling balls of fire from a distance. There are still nights where fireflies can be seen above the specific mangrove.
Isabeleños have used the Fuego Fuego beach front in
Tabawan Barangay as a place to hang out, relax, and have fun over the years.
This is now a fort where visitors can take in the
breathtaking view of Malamawi Island Peak, which is towering above the lush painting-like surroundings.
