Making sure pacing is good so count
down “3,2,1 show your boards”
10 minutes New Content, Exposition: How many
cells form tissues, many tissues form
organs and how multiple organs form
organ systems that make up organisms
(humans). Guided reading from textbook
15 minutes Outlining task: Get 1 student to lie on
large piece of paper and draw an outline
around them to establish what a human
body looks like. Then ask students to
draw in roughly where they think certain
organ systems are.
9 minutes Whiteboard activity for new content.
Picture and write down whether it is a
cell, tissue, organ, system or organism.
Going through any additional questions
etc.
