Yes please stand make hormones and release them directly into
the blood so they can travel to tissues and organs

C. ENGAGE

Before we proceed to our proper lesson we will

have first a activity. In this activity you are going to
arrange the jumbled letters in order to get the
correct word/s that are relevant to our topic.
Anyone who can answers first the right word on
the board will have a plus 1 point on the quiz later
after our discussion.

Students answers
1. NALMISE EVSICLE
2. SAV FEDERENS 1. Seminal vesicle

3. ORPSTATE DNALG 2. Vas deference

4. TUMSCRO 3. Prostate gland

5. TTSSIE 4. Scrotum

6. RYOVA 5. Testis

7. RUSUTE 6. Ovary

8. VEXREC 7. Uterus

9. OPIANFALL UBET 8. Cervix

10. THRIB NALCA 9. Fallopian tube

10. Birth canal

The words you form are some of the important

internal and external part of male and female
reproductive system.

Now, let's us find their location or the structure of

those part in the reproductive system by labelling
the parts of the male and female reproductive
system.

I have here a illustration of male and female

reproductive system. So, I will call 10 students, 5
from boys and 5 from girls.

For girls, you are going to label the male

reproductive system and for the boys you are going
to label the female reproductive system.

It is clear class?

Okay let's start.

Yes sir
This is the illustration for the female reproductive
system.

And this is the illustration for the male

reproductive system.

Okay, it's done so let's check if your answers are

correct.

Let's start with male reproductive system, and next

is the female reproductive system.

D. EXPLORE

You already know and learn the parts of the male

and female reproductive system, so now let us
learn their functions by doing this activity.

Group activity:

So now we will have a group activity, I will group

you into 10 groups. (The students will count 1 to 10)
Choose one representative of your group and
proceed in front.
I have here a pieces of papers you are going to (10 students approaches in front)
pick/choose one paper, then proceed to your
respective groups.

That's the part of male and female reproductive

system. So now, you are going to report/discuss its
functions. I will give you 5 minutes to prepare.

It is clear class?

Okay let's start

Yes sir
(After 5 minutes)

Okay, time is up! You have already know the parts

of male and female reproductive system. Now, you
are going to discuss the functions of the male and
female reproductive system in detail.

But first I want you to tell me what is the major

function of the reproductive system?

The major function of the reproductive system is

to ensure survival of the species.
Okay very good. The major function of the
reproductive system is to ensure survival of the
species.

So now, one representative per group will discuss

their collaboration in front.

Let's start with group 1. Okay, Be the first to

discuss your work.
(Students will discuss their work)

(After the reporting)

Thank you to all groups, you all have a good

presentation. Congratulations

E. EXPLAIN
F. ELABORATE

G. EVALUATE

This time let's us check how far you have learned

from this learning session by answering the
following questions.

Get 1/4 sheet of paper and answer the following

questions.

Direction: Identify the parts of the male and female

reproductive system based on the given structure
or function. Answers
