ANNUAL HIGHLIGHTS, 2023

Greetings,
We have had a successful school year 2023. As
we come to the close of the year, we take the
pleasure to convey our appreciation to God
Almighty and to all our stakeholders.
Highlights,
1. We served all our 950 learners at both
Primary and High School. All of them
are in good health.
2. All our 45 members of staff served well
throughout the year.
3. In January 2023, we got a water system
donated by H2O for all, a Canadian
charity. Having struggled for 10 years
without a safe water source, it was such
a great relief. Unlike before, we never
registered any cases of water borne
illnesses such as typhoid.
4. In September we got a roof on the three
class rooms at the Secondary side that
had stood stood roofless for two years.

5. In September, H2O for all sponsored us
with a chicken house, 50 chicks and
their feeds. During the first term of
2024, we shall be able to feed all our
learners with an egg every weekend.
6. Through a H2O for all generous
donations, in October 2023, we got
connected to the national grid. For 10
years of our existence, we operated on
small solar powered lighting systems.
During cloudy weather, the lights would
be very dim. Our learners are now
enjoying enough light during nights.
7. Our primary School got a new coat of
colourful paints as we prepared to
celebrate 10 years since Life
Community Primary School started.
8. In November, we got window frames
fixed in 3 classrooms at the Primary
School and three class rooms at the High
School. The rooms are now looking
better and will soon be more
comfortable for our learners when we
finally fix glasses/ window panes.
 In October 2023, the pit latrine at the
Primary School side serving 450 girls
collapsed under a heavy downpour. We
need to move to more permanent water
toilets to avoid future sanitation
challenges like we are having right now.

We need up to 1200 USD to put in place
the first phase structure to ease the
problem.
 Next year we shall need more money to
build more toilet facilities for boys and
members of staff at the Primary School,
and for boys, girls and staff members at
Chicken farm
the Secondary side.
 We are still struggling to meet the
expenses for all our teaching and non-
teaching staff for this last school term,
2023. We are short by 1000 USD.
 We still need more 10 windows worth
500 USD and all the glasses worth 700
USD.
 We are short of 50 beds for our learners. New roof and windows on 3 classrooms at the
