Subject: Proposal for Scouts Cooking Competition

Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to propose for organizing a cooking competition
for scouts of grade 8 and 9, an event that I believe will not only foster a sense of community among
scouts but also provide an opportunity for them to showcase their culinary talents.
Objective:
The primary goal of the cooking competition is to encourage creativity, teamwork, survival skills and
healthy competition among scouts. It will serve as a platform for scouts to express their culinary
skills, learn from each other, and celebrate the diverse food cultures within our school community.
Details of the Event:
1. Date and Time: 29th Nov 2023 (morning 9am departure)
2. Venue: Dhapakhel, Lalitpur
3. Judging Panel: We can invite local chefs, or teachers with culinary expertise to form a judging
panel. This will add credibility to the competition and provide valuable feedback to the participants.
4. Participation: Scouts of grade 8 and 9

I am willing to take on the responsibility of coordinating the event, school have to secure the
necessary approvals, organizing the logistics, and communicating with participants and judges. I will
work closely with school staff to ensure that the event runs smoothly and aligns with school policies.
I am confident that a cooking competition will not only be an exciting and enjoyable event for our
school community but will also contribute to the overall development of our scouts. I am open to
discussing this proposal further and am happy to provide any additional information or address any
concerns.
