The K–12 Basic Education Program aims to provide learners with the skills, work ethic, and
values necessary for continuing their education or entering the workforce. Improved alignment
between fundamental education and the development of the country. Work Immersion has been
added as a mandatory subject to the curriculum. This course will give students the chance to: 1.
Familiarize themselves with the workplace, For employment simulation, and three, to put their
skills in their areas of expertise/applied subjects in real-world job settings.

Learners are engaged in real work settings including offices, labs, and workshops where their
prior training is applicable. These recommendations were developed using the extensive
experience of modeling schools, tech-voc schools, partnership focal points, industry partners,
and supporters of youth development. These instructions offer process assistance to the
Department of Education’s (DepEd) field offices in cultivating connections and fortifying
alliances so that students will have access to appropriate work immersion settings and other
relevant resources.
Students are exposed to and familiarized with the working world in their field of specialization
through work immersion, which improves their competency. Under the direction of professionals
in the field, students are able to learn specific and useful industrial skills, including: [appreciate
the significance and applicability of the ideas and theories taught in school.

OBJECTIVE OF WORK IMMERSION

Working immersion gives me the opportunity to put what I’ve learned about their specialization
to use for my skill development, knowledge expansion, and preparation for employment, as well
as for moving forward with my higher education. During my work immersion in senior high
school, I learned to develop a good social interaction that will help me to build-up and maintain a
good relationship toward others.
