CLIMBING LADDERS INSTRUCTION

Climbing safety
1- Use climbing safety rails or safety ropes on the climbing ladders to prevent falling from a height and to which the
safety belt can be attached.
2- Fix the climbing safety rails or safety ropes such that the worker working on the ladder can move safely. (2)
3- Use suitable safety belt (parachute type) for climbing safety. (3)
4- Take safety precautions against falling from the height in climbing ladders used in interlocking or climbing form
works .
5- Ensure that there are resting places on the climbing ladders.
6- Secure the resting places so that they cannot be removed or displaced and check them regularly.
Climbing mechanisms
7- In tower and chimney, stack constructions, use only climbing mechanisms that are protected against falling from
height. (1)
8- Provide climbing mechanisms made of non-wearing materials.
