DATA COLLECTION

In the present study, data will be collected from English major students of

Southern Baptist College, Mlang, North Cotabato. The researcher will use random

sampling using Slovins’ formula n= 2 . The samples will be not less than 200 and

not more than 500 students from first year to fourth year English major students. The

research instrument will be a structured questionnaire using multiple choice options

from which the respondent selects the answer closer to their own opinion.

The research procedure will encompass the following steps: 1) briefing the

participants, 2) obtaining their ethical consent, 3) distributing the questionnaire, 4)

collecting the completed questionnaires, and 5) analyzing the data. The data obtained

through the questionnaire will be analyzed using Statistical Program for Social

Sciences. Inferential statistics will be employed as the statistical method, focusing on

making predictions or generalizations about a larger dataset, based on a sample of

those data. The result findings will be utilized to address and discuss the research

objectives.
