DATA COLLECTION

In the present study, data will be collected from English major students of

Southern Baptist College, Mlang, North Cotabato. The samples will be not less than 200

and not more than 500 students from first year to fourth year English major students.

The conduction of the research involved the use of semi-structured questionnaire, which

was used as an interview guide for the researcher. Some certain questions were

prepared, so as for the researcher to guide the interview towards the satisfaction of

research objectives.

The research procedure will encompass the following steps: 1) briefing the

participants, 2) obtaining their ethical consent, 3) distributing the questionnaire, 4)

collecting the completed questionnaires, and 5) analyzing the data. The data obtained

through the questionnaire will be analyzed using Chi-Squared (χ2) Tests. Chi-square

test will be employed as a statistical method, it is used to determine whether your data

are significantly different from what you expected.
