Pacific Ocean?

 After entering the PAR, where will the tropical cyclone end

up?

 Are a typhoon and a tropical cyclone the same thing?

E. Abstraction

The teacher will discuss the topic

Due to its proximity to the equator and surrounding bodies of water,

our nation is well-suited for the development of tropical cyclones.

The Philippines is situated directly in the path of tropical cyclones,

thus the only thing to do is prepare for their yearly assault. In times

of disaster, acknowledge the people's oneness as they support one

another's survival.

Typhoon– an extremely large, powerful, and

destructive storm that occurs especially in the

region of the Philippines or the China Sea. And it has

a wind speed of 119 to 200 kph.

Tropical Depression- when the wind speed is

between 35 to 64 kph.

Tropical Storm- the wind speed is between 65 and

118 kph.

Super typhoon– the wind speed is greater than 200

kilometers per hour (kph).

Tropical Cyclone- tropical cyclone is a system of

thunderstorms that are moving around a center.

We have here the safety measurements to keep safety

around our homes.

1. Make reinforcements to prevent damage. Check roof tiles,

slates, etc. for looseness. ...

2. Ensure proper drainage. Ensure that gutters, rain pipes and

similar are clean and free from leaves, dirt, etc. ...

3. Fasten objects that may be blown away. Reinforce TV antennas

and other objects as necessary.

F. Generalization

 Why is it crucial that we understand the safety

measurements??
 Do you think typhoon has advantages too?

 Which location is the safest to flee in the event of a typhoon?

G. Application

The students will be divided into four groups by the teacher,

who will then give them a short chant on typhoons to perform in

front of the class.

H. Evaluation

After the teacher poses two topics, the students can select

the one they wish to respond to. They then have ten minutes to

write an essay on the chosen topic and submit it for assessment.

I. Assignment

The teacher will ask questions to the class on the benefits of

typhoons, require them to write their answers on a full yellow pad,

and assign them to turn in tomorrow.
