I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the formation of typhoons
and their movement within the PAR.
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to demonstrate precautionary measures before,
during, and after a typhoon, including following advisories, storm signals,
and calls for evacuation given by government agencies in charge and
participate in activities that lessen the risks brought by typhoons.
Learners will be able to:
C. Learning 1. describe the weather conditions for every Philippine Public Storm
Competencies/Objectives Warning Signals;
2. explain the system of rainfall and flood warnings used in the country;
3. practice the precautionary measures to be followed before, during, and
after a typhoon;
4. prepare an emergency bag that can be used during natural disasters like
typhoon.
V. REFLECTION
Being prepared before a natural disaster is the key for survival. Therefore,
the knowledge gained by the students is very much important to be ready
for this kind of situation.
