CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER IN INTERACTIVE
attendance reaching and potentially surpassing pre-pandemic levels in 2019. After a year and a half spent at home, many people
are more than ready to attend conventions, exhibits, festivals, concerts, sport events and other big group pastimes they’ve been
missing. So far it looks like they’re doing their best to make up for lost time.
One of the most rapidly growing segments of the tourism industry is the convention and exhibition industry. Conventions and
exhibitions generate a tremendous amount of revenue within the tourism industry. Travel sales from meetings, conventions and
exhibition industry are so important to the economy that all levels of government have organized, advertised and provided services
Kicking off the Projéto 2024 run, the challenge is to create and conceptualize a well-designed Convention and Expo Center where
different people from all over the World can connect, a space to grow a professional network, and build meaningful relationships.
The Convention & Expo Center shall highlight the technological advances of Interactive Architecture, using adaptive components
and real-time sensors to detect environmental and design programming functions. It will be the first of its kind in the Philippines.
