You are on page 1of 2

En esta guía nos enfocaremos en aquellas oraciones donde el sujeto es I, you, we y they, cuya estructura es igual a las de las

oraciones con sujeto I y you que estudiamos en la clase anterior.

Lo primero que debemos sabes es sobre las 3 comidas del día (meals of the day) que son:

1. BREAKFAST: DESAYUNO HAVE BREAKFAST: DESAYUNAR/TOMAR DESAYUNO

2. LUNCH: ALMUERZO HAVE LUNCH: ALMORZAR
3. DINNER: CENA (ONCE EN CHILE) HAVE DINNER: CENAR

El verbo “have” nos sirve para decir lo que comemos o bebemos durante el día. También podemos usar el verbo
“eat” ó “drink”.

 En las afirmaciones, usaremos el sujeto + el verbo en su forma original, por ejemplo:

1. I have coffee and toast for breakfast.
2. They have rice and meat for lunch.
3. We usually drink tea in the dinner.

 En las negaciones, utilizaremos el auxiliar don’t antes del verbo, por ejemplo:
1. In Chile, we don’t have rice and fish for breakfast.
2. Japanese people don’t drink coffee for breakfast. They drink tea.
3. I don’t usually eat meat because I am a vegetarian.

 En las preguntas incluiremos el auxiliar do antes del sujeto, por ejemplo:

WHAT: QUÉ
WHAT TIME: A QUÉ HORA
WHERE: DÓNDE
WHO WITH: CON QUIÉN
