“PRESENT PERFECT TENSE”

We use the Present Perfect Tense to talk about...

An Unfinished action in the past that has connection with the


present.
- I have lived in Paris since 2018. (I continue living in Paris)

An action that begun in the past and they’re repetitive ...


- I have studied from Monday to Sunday.

An action that occur in the past and Finish in the past, but with no
exact time.
- I have seen that movie .(no exact time)
- I have finished my homework.
An action that happened recently in the past. (a short time ago)
- I have just sent an e-mail.
“Present Perfect Tense”
To form the “Present Perfect Tense” you need:

Subject Auxiliary Past Participle of Verb Complement +


I / You Verb # 3 Since / For
He / she / it “have / has” # 1 = eat.....Simple Present (to enphazise the period of time).
We / They / You # 2 = ate ....Simple Past
# 3 = eaten....Past Participle
