SCHOOL MEMORANDUM
1. As educators, we must be cautious when giving grades to our students. The change of
grades is allowed, provided that enough evidence is provided. This must be done
judiciously and consistently in all the forms used in providing grades to our students.
2. This morning, Maam Lubiano called my attention to the grades you gave to Oyoso
Joshua in PE and Health 2. His grade of 92 was entered on the temporary card, while
only 78 was entered on the report card. On the other hand, Alumbio, Ginaden, has a
grade of 78 in the SF 10, while the grade of 88 is reflected in the temporary card.
These observations showed that you were not consistent with the grades you gave
these students.
3. The preparation and reading of forms were done. Assuming that the grades were
given to the advisers by the subject teachers, the forms were notified and approved.
4. As the school head, I don’t ask you to change the grade to any rating, but since the
students first received the grades from the temporary cards, which they saw and
reported to their parents, I am suggesting that you just retain the first grades you have
issued to these students to prevent any problems that may arise from this
circumstance.
5. You are also requested to do the editing of the school forms as soon as possible since
these will undergo the usual process of checking the forms.
6. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this memo are
