3.2.1 Generalise the meaning of blood circulatory system in animals.
SUCCESS CRITERIA
Analyse knowledge about transportation in context of problem solving on events or
natural phenomena.
Evaluate knowledge about transportation in context of problem solving and
decision making to carry out a task.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, a pupil should be able to describe the function of transport
systems by comparing and contrasting the different circulatory systems in different
classes of vertebrates.
ACTIVITIES: 1. Carry out an active reading activity to compare and contrast the blood
circulatory system in vertebrates such as, mammals, reptiles, amphibians,
birds and fishes

KRITERIA KEJAYAAN Murid dapat menerangkan bagaimana 1 penyakit berjangkit disebarkan, penyebab dan
penularan penyakit berjangkit dan mekanisme menghalang penularan penyakit berjangkit
dengan betul.
SUCCESS CRITERIA 1 Analyse knowledge about transportation in context of problem solving on events
or natural phenomena.
2 Evaluate knowledge about transportation in context of problem solving and
decision making to carry out a task.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES A pupil is able to give the meaning of blood circulatory system and explain the
structures and functions of the blood circulatory system components
ACTIVITIES: 1. Carry out vigorous activities to relate the increase in pulse rate to the rate of
oxygen uptake and release of carbon dioxide.
2. Measure and take blood pressure readings (systolic and diastolic readings) and
discuss the lub dub sound produced during heartbeat.
3. Study the effect of physical activities on pulse rate and discuss other factors that
influence pulse rate such as: Gender, Age , Body health

PRE-LESSON Pre-lesson
3. The teacher asks one of the pupils to read aloud the first and second paragraphs on
LESSON page 95 in the textbook. The pupils also need to write new and difficult

5. The teachers asks the pupils to complete the task on “completing the ending to a
story” in page 95 of the textbook. The teacher gives an example on how the task is
done by giving a related sample essay so that the pupils will have the idea on how
to write the ending of a story.
6. Differentiate by the outcome expected from pupils. Differentiate by the type and
amount of support provided. The teacher can refer to the provided list of
differentiation strategies and select appropriate strategy/strategies.
Post lesson
1.Pupils draw a mind-map based on their feelings about the effects of taking too much
junk food. The pupils can write in at least three sentences in” bubbles” to show the
gist of their own ideas.
2. The pupils present their ideas in the class and the teacher will comment on the
pupils’ work.
