A DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MATHEMATICS 3

I.OBJECTIVE
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to achieve at least 75% proficiency level in the
following behavior:
COGNITIVE-Solve subtraction Mentally 1- to 2 – Digit numbers without and with regrouping using
appropriate strategies

PSYCHOMOTOR -Solve and Write the subtraction problems and equations

AFFECTIVE-Develop appreciation for the importance of subtracts mentally 1- to -2 digits numbers


without and with regrouping using appreciate strategies.

Today,I am going to read a problem,and after I


read answer the following question.

One Sunny day, ben gathered some shell

2.GROUP ACTIVITY
This time we are going to play,the game entitled
“Telephone Game”

Are you ready? -yes ma’am!

I will group you into 4 with equal number,Each


group will fall in line and will choose a
representative to received a piece of paper written
a subtraction problem/equation that need to solve
mentally,then whisper the answer to your next
classmate until it reaches your classmate who is in
front and your classmate who is infront will write
the answer on the board,after writng she/he will go
to the back and the next will move forward so that
the rotation is done,the game continues following
the rule until all the group members are given the
chance to subtract mentally.The group with the
highest point wins.
